I first experienced the benefits of complementary medicine as a result of my own health challenges at a young age. I made a decision to choose this as a career to help others as I was passionate about the results that can be achieved. My goal is to help support and guide you to seek meaningful solutions, optimise your wellbeing and create a healthy future.
I draw a diverse range of experience with more than 20 years working in both medical and complementary medicine fields. I worked in pharmacy and private GP and psychology practices (WA) then as a practitioner consultant for nutrition company ‘Metagenics’ (WA & QLD).
After relocating to Tasmania in 2006, I worked as a Chronic Disease Management Coordinator for a pharmaceutical company ‘MSD’ in a preventative healthcare role. I then established ‘Tonic Inspired Health’ in 2007 which grew to be a multi-disciplinary wellness centre. ‘Tonic Inspired Health’ has since evolved into ‘pin & tonic’ in collaboration with business partner and friend Belinda Matkovich.
I consulted at Launceston based ‘Nutrition for Life’ and presented lectures in the community about the critical role of healthy nutrition in our lives, with a particular focus on low carb (LCHF). Since 2015 I have worked in a dual role for medical device company ‘Medtronic’ as a clinical device specialist in diabetes technologies. This involves educating people living with T1D in using continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy.
I’m a mum of three energetic young kids and a fitness enthusiast- in attempt to keep up with them!

My interest in health and nutrition began as a young person growing up on a farm in beautiful north-west Tasmania. This instilled in me a connection with nature and an appreciation of the resources that go into the production of precious food by our farmers.
My passion for nutrition deepened when I became an elite junior athlete, competing at a national level for several years. I then spent four years at a U.S. university as part of the collegiate athletics and cross country team, whilst studying for my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Fast forward to my mid twenties, I worked as a Family and Youth Support Worker in Melbourne, studied Remedial and Sports Massage, and then opened my own massage clinic. My focus then shifted to Naturopathy and Nutrition (Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, Melbourne), and I have loved incorporating Acupuncture into my practice, after completing a Master of Applied Science in Acupuncture (RMIT, Melbourne).
I have had the privilege of supporting people on their health journey for the past 25 years.
My unique skill set of Acupuncture, Naturopathy and Nutrition is how I help you navigate through your health issues. This holistic approach can be incredibly helpful in relieving your distressing symptoms, making sustainable improvements to your wellbeing and creating a healthier you into the future.
